Itinerary
Tbilisi to Mestia
Drive from Tbilisi to Mestia (approx. 9 hours) or take a morning flight. Arrive in Mestia, equipment check, and introduction to the area. Dinner and overnight at guesthouse.
First Ski Touring Day - Hatsvali Slopes
Ski tour from Mestia towards Hatsvali area. Explore powder slopes above the treeline with stunning views of Tetnuldi and Ushba. Skins up, ski down through forest glades. Return to guesthouse.
Tetnuldi Backcountry
Full day ski touring on the Tetnuldi massif. Access high-altitude slopes with panoramic views of the Greater Caucasus. Varied terrain including open bowls and ridge runs. Avalanche safety practice.
Ushba Foothills Tour
Ski tour towards the dramatic Ushba peak. Explore remote valleys and ridgelines rarely visited by other skiers. Cultural stop in a traditional Svan village. Return via different route.
Final Morning Ski & Return
Short morning ski tour for final powder turns. Pack equipment and begin return journey to Tbilisi. Arrive Tbilisi late evening.
